BIOME Presentations: Students were asked to design a biome presentation to show both environmental parameters and cultural relationships that exist due to environmental influence (clothing, food, music, art and political/religious affiliations). The projects has 3 purposes: 1. Cultural Awareness 2. Address Biome Standard for course 3. Promote research and presentation skills for academic profile.

The students in Intro to Transportation used their design thinking skills to create a mouse trap car. They had the opportunity to test them out in the gym!
The Linton Miners Football Team is one of the three recipients of The Colt’s Leadership Challenge Football Blood Drives. This summer (for the third year in a row), Coach Oliver and the team were part of the Colt’s Leadership Challenge. It's a great day to be a MINER!
ATTENTION HS STUDENTS/PARENTS October 29th - PSAT day 10th and 11th grade students will be taking PSAT on October 29th. They will report to school as normal and test in the morning. 9th and 12th graders will stay home for an eLearning day.

Varsity Football at Southridge HS on Friday August 21, 2020. Game time is 7:30 pm (EST). Please park in “C” parking lot and enter at gate “F”. You can purchase a Bleacher seat (limited) or a Standing Room only seat. Masks are required along with the social distancing guidelines. It’s A Great Day To Be A Miner!
A big thank you to our custodian and maintenance crews who started early this morning removing excess furntiture from each of our schools. This is just one small piece of getting our schools ready to open and will assist us in social distancing in our classrooms.

It is wonderful to see students back on campus! Athletics were allowed to begin limited practices and vollyeball was the first team in. While procedures may be a little different this year, MINER PRIDE continues as usual!!
